And you are invited!

Hancock is Expecting baby 1Follow along as our story unfolds and we look to the future of health care for women and children, share testimonials from our patients, introduce our extraordinary providers and explain why the time is now to renovate the Andis Women’s & Children’s Department with modern features and all the comforts of home.

We’re Overdue

Women often have greater health care needs, in part because of their need for obstetrical services. Additionally, as the primary decision makers and caregivers for the health of their families, women need to be confident that the care they’ve chosen is the very best available.

The Andis Women’s and Children’s Department will be completely redesigned to provide all the comforts of home, with the modern features you’d expect from a big city hospital. By the time the renovation is complete, it will have been nearly 25 years since the maternity unit was constructed. After decades of care, and thousands of babies delivered, times have certainly changed!

Since 1993, when Andis was built, there has been tremendous growth in this community. There is a new standard of care. While we have some of the best technology and tools for medicine, we have not stayed up-to-date with modern capacity for comfort, convenience and service to new moms, babies and families that many hospitals in central Indiana have. In order to offer contemporary comforts and continue providing excellent care to our families, we must modernize the Andis Unit and update conveniences and accommodations.
