Edith Zike Nursing Scholarship
The Edith Zike Nursing Scholarship was created in 1970 in memory of a dedicated local nurse, Edith Zike, to encourage entry into the nursing profession, thereby assuring the community of a continued high level of nursing care.
Qualifications:
Applicants must:
- be accepted into a nursing or pre-nursing program at an accredited school; and
- be current residents of Hancock County and/or be employed in a health care capacity in Hancock County. Prior recipients of this scholarship are not eligible.
Selection Criteria:
Recipients will be selected based on academic achievement, community or extracurricular involvement and demonstration of interest and/or experience in nursing activities. Multiple recipients may be selected.
Payment Amount:
Up to $2,000.00 per recipient

Please submit completed applications to the Hancock Regional Hospital Foundation by March 1, 2013. Interviews may be requested as part of the application process.

School of Radiologic Technology Scholarship
The Hancock Regional Hospital Foundation School of Radiologic Technology Scholarship is awarded to individuals currently enrolled in the School of Radiologic Technology. The applicant must live in the hospital's service- area or currently be employed in Hancock County. The scholarship is based on Academic Standing, Financial Need, School/Community Involvement. A personal interview may be conducted.
New in 2013- One or more of these scholarships will be given through the Luminescence Scholarship program. All students in the HRH School of Radiologic Technology are eligible to apply, regardless of residency.
