Art Therapy for Our Cancer Patients

The Sue Ann Wortman Cancer Center’s holistic approach to cancer treatment took a creative twist last year when four of our patients helped design headscarves. The female patients worked one-on-one with Indianapolis textile artist Emily Gartner to paint their designs on canvases and then turn the paintings into wearable art. Their story even got the attention of the Indianapolis lifestyle site, Indy Maven. Read it here.

Making Health Possible

A big part of making health possible for everyone in East Central Indiana is making sure our expectant mothers have the information they need to take care of themselves during their pregnancies. Our award-winning health and lifestyle site, HealthPossible.org, is full of helpful tips and great advice about what you’ll encounter when you and your family are growing.

Morning sickness? We can help.

Thinking about C-section? We are, too.

Want to be there for the new mom in your life? Here’s a checklist.

Color the Grouchies Away!

Most urgent care centers are enough to give anyone a case of the Grouchies. They’re inconvenient, uncomfortable, unfriendly, and expensive. But you won’t get the Grouchies at Gateway Hancock Health, where our associates are friendly and our labs, imaging, and immediate care is easy and affordable. Still, it’s a good idea to know how to identify the pesky Grouchies. These coloring pages will help you do just that—download, print, and get coloring!
