Raising Awareness on Ovarian Cancer

September is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re doing our part to raise awareness around this life-threatening illness. Like other organs, ovaries are susceptible to cancer, but it’s difficult to detect until it has already spread to the pelvis or the abdomen. If your family has a history of ovarian cancer, it’s important to talk to your doctor to understand your risks and consider genetic testing.
