We know that all of our associates Live Our Values Every Day (L.O.V.E.), and some of them go above and beyond to provide our patients and visitors with world-class care and compassion. The P.E.T.A.L. Award (People Engaged to Aspire L.O.V.E.) compliments our DAISY Award for exceptional Nurses.
The P.E.T.A.L. Award is an opportunity for our patients and visitors to share their story and recognize the extraordinary service of an associate who has made a difference in their life. Each P.E.T.A.L. Award nominee receives a printed copy of their nomination along with a pin to commemorate their recognition.
Hancock Health gathers all submissions quarterly and a special honoree for that quarter is selected. The selected associate receives a beautiful keepsake acrylic award, a certificate, and a unique pin that denotes them as a P.E.T.A.L. Award recipient. Hancock Health reserves the P.E.T.A.L.
