Dr. Mirza Baig, MD is a board-certified Nephrologist at Hancock Health with over 20 years of clinical experience within diverse health care settings. He completed his medical training at the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College in India and did his internal medicine residency at The UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences. He completed his nephrology fellowship at Indiana University School of Medicine and his physician MBA at the Indiana University Kelly School of Business.
Dr. Baig has vast experience in delivering patient-oriented value-based care and is passionate about education and empowerment to help deliver holistic care to patients with kidney disease. He is always on the lookout for innovative ways to deliver kidney education, especially around nutrition.
In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his children, being active and volunteering in his community.
