About the Center

The effort to bring state-of-the-art women’s health services and early detection of breast cancer began with a generous gift from the family of Dr. James T. Anderson, MD. Together with generous support from the community.

The James T. Anderson, MD, Center for Women’s Health offers the women of our community access to digital mammography, bone density testing, and best-in-class amenities—not to mention the experienced, expert care you expect from the area’s leader in women’s health services—that are miles from the ordinary, just minutes from home.

Andis Women’s Clinic

Named in honor of Fannie Andis, Hancock Regional Hospital has designated the Andis Women’s Clinic to provide screening health services for all women with an emphasis on those women who are at risk and uninsured or underinsured. The clinic is funded by Hancock Health Foundation’s Women Helping Women program, grants, community donations, and through the Breast and Cervical Cancer program sponsored by the Indiana State Department of Health.

These programs allow women who meet age, income, and insurance guidelines the opportunity to have a Pap test and pelvic exam, and breast health services.
