Hancock Physician Network Description

Hancock Physician Network was established in 1998 and is a partnership between Hancock Health and St. Vincent Health. HPN is a primary care network of physicians that practice throughout Hancock County providing specialties such as family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, pulmonary medicine, OB/GYN, surgery, and mental health.

We are based in Greenfield, IN which is 20 miles east of Indianapolis. The mission of the Hancock Physician Network, LLC is to provide quality healthcare services to the residents of the communities it serves. The Hancock Physician Network, LLC seeks to accomplish this through efficient and effective practice operations in partnership with its physicians members.

Hospital Description

Hancock Regional Hospital is a 70 bed hospital providing Hancock County with the services of a full service community hospital with a focus on primary care, patient comfort and convenience. Hancock Regional Hospital offers a high percentage of private rooms, a highly skilled medical and professional nursing staff. A state of the art surgery department, 24 hour emergency services, OB services, progressive and critical care, gero-psych unit, home healthcare, occupational health, transitional care unit, total oncology program including state of the art radiation oncology center, and a full compliment of inpatient and outpatient services.

Community Description

Greenfield is the county seat of Hancock County and home to 14,000 Hoosiers. With unemployment rates among the lowest in the nation, Greenfield boasts thousands of manufacturing, service, and professional jobs. Greenfield is also home of rich cultural and recreational resources from its schools and library to its parks and historic downtown. Greenfield is close to big city amenities (just 15 minutes east of Indianapolis) but maintains its own small town identity and sense of close knit community.

Family Practice – Full Time – Hancock Family Medicine

One of our busiest and most well-established practices will be adding one new physician to their team. These additions are due to one retiring physician and community growth and access so it will not be difficult to assume a robust patient population.

  • Open to recent graduate or practicing physician
  • Full time position at 36 clinical hours per week
  • Call is 1:9
  • Physicians see approximately 20-24 patients per day
  • Newly renovated and technologically updated office

Internal Medicine – Full Time – Hancock Internal Medicine

A well-established practice invites you to consider an internal medicine opportunity in a location with an undeniable need.

  • Full time position at 36 clinical hours per week
  • Outpatient call schedule is 1:9
  • Physicians see approximately 15-20 patients per day
  • Opportunity exists to moonlight as a hospitalist if inpatient work is desired
  • Newly renovated and technologically updated office

Pediatrician – Full Time – Hancock Pediatrics

A well-established practice invites you to consider a pediatric opportunity in a location with an undeniable need.

  • Full time position at 36 clinical hours per week
  • Call schedule is 1:5 (approximately 7 days per month including weekend rotation)
  • Physicians see approximately 25 patients per day
  • Responsibilities include newborn nursery and pediatric inpatient care in Hancock Regional Hospital’s four bed pediatric unit
  • Newly renovated and technologically updated office
