Hancock Physician Network Description

Hancock Physician Network was established in 1998 and is a partnership between Hancock Health and St. Vincent Health. HPN is a primary care network of physicians that practice throughout Hancock County providing specialties such as family practice, internal medicine, pediatrics, pulmonary medicine, OB/GYN, surgery, and mental health.

We are based in Greenfield, IN which is 20 miles east of Indianapolis. The mission of the Hancock Physician Network, LLC is to provide quality healthcare services to the residents of the communities it serves. The Hancock Physician Network, LLC seeks to accomplish this through efficient and effective practice operations in partnership with its physicians members.

Hospital Description

Hancock Health is a 70 bed hospital providing Hancock County with the services of a full service community hospital with a focus on primary care, patient comfort and convenience. Hancock Health offers a high percentage of private rooms, a highly skilled medical and professional nursing staff. A state of the art surgery department, 24 hour emergency services, OB services, progressive and critical care, gero-psych unit, home healthcare, occupational health, transitional care unit, total oncology program including state of the art radiation oncology center, and a full compliment of inpatient and outpatient services.

Community Description

Greenfield is the county seat of Hancock County and home to 14,000 Hoosiers. With unemployment rates among the lowest in the nation, Greenfield boasts thousands of manufacturing, service, and professional jobs. Greenfield is also home of rich cultural and recreational resources from its schools and library to its parks and historic downtown. Greenfield is close to big city amenities (just 15 minutes east of Indianapolis) but maintains its own small town identity and sense of close knit community.


Family Practice – Full Time – Hancock Family Medicine

Two of our established practices, will be adding a physician to start with their teams in 2018.  New physicians will be taking over a well-established practice.

  • Open to recent graduate or practicing physician.
  • Full-time position available at 36 clinical hours per week. Practice is open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
  • Dependent upon practice location, call will be 1:5 or 1:9.
  • Employed opportunity
  • Physician will see approximately 21 patients per day.

Internal Medicine – Full Time – Hancock Internal Medicine

Hancock Health is looking for an Internal Medicine physician to join their growing and established team! This physician will have the option to work either full or part time.

  • Monday – Friday hours only
  • No nights or weekends
  • This is an immediate opening.
  • Fully implemented EMR system.
  • Very supportive culture with a skilled support staff in place.

Internal Medicine – Full Time – Hancock Internal Medicine

Hancock Health is looking for an Internal Medicine physician to join their growing and established team!

  • Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
  • Outpatient weekend call rotation of 1:9

Pediatrician – Full Time – Hancock Pediatrics

Hancock Health is adding a Pediatrician to their growing practice in Greenfield, Indiana. This opportunity is full-time but will consider part-time candidates.

  • Full time position is 36 clinical hours per week.
  • Group shares call responsibility for practice which is currently 1:5 (approx. 7 days on call per month including weekend rotation).
  • Open to recent graduate and practicing physician.
  • Employed opportunity.
  • Physician will see approximately 25 patients per day.

Nocturnist – Full Time – Hancock Regional Hospital

Hancock Health is hiring a full-time Nocturnist to care for inpatients (no pediatric). Candidate works a rotation of 7on/7off (7p-7a). Must be willing to do critical care management, procedures in ICU and LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care Unit).

  • Opening due to community need and growth.
  • Looking for a physician with Internal Medicine, Hospitalist or Critical Care training.
  • Open to new graduate or practicing physician.
  • Employed opportunity.
  • Will see on average 12-18 patients per day.
