This hands-on class teaches you not only the basics such as feeding, diapering and bathing but also addresses the more challenging aspects of being a new parent such as how to cope with crying, safe sleeping, car seat safety and more. Also discussed are newborn procedures such as state required testing, immunizations, and circumcision. Adopting and grandparents welcome too!
CPR for infants, including choking hazard prevention, is included—however, this isn’t a course to establish CPR certification. These classes are offered every other month, so please plan in advance.
